OAC Food and Agriculture Job Fair

The OAC (Ontario Agricultural College) Food and Agriculture Virtual Job Fair will help your organization recruit, hire and increase your company’s branding on the University of Guelph campus. This opportunity will connect you face-to-face with students interested in the agricultural, business and environmental industries, and in your upcoming co-op, full-time, new grad, or summer hiring needs.

The Job Fair will be hosted on the Symplicity platform:

  • Connect through real-time online videoconferencing with talented students and alumni
  • View student resumes, host a Group Chat (videoconference) to answer general questions about your organization and/or connect 1:1 (videoconference) with interested students using your preferred videoconferencing technology (e.g. MS Teams, Zoom, WebEx, etc.)
  • Easy-to-use interface for students to peruse attending employers, join employer queues, and join employer’s 1:1 and Group Chat videoconferences

Sponsorship Opportunities

Gold Event Sponsorship: Maximum 1

SOLD OUT

In addition to the inclusions in a standard registration (see below), Gold Event Sponsorship also includes the following:

  • Company logo, description and website information displayed prominently on the event website on uoguelph.ca/ELHub  

  • Company logo on the event platform 

  • Company logo to appear on all marketing materials 

  • Feature spotlight on the Experiential Learning Hub social media channels including Instagram and Twitter  

    • Maximum of 3 posts/stories per channel during the two weeks in advance of the fair 

    • Summary of social media impressions and analytics post fair  

  • Opportunity to offer an Employer Recruitment Session post event with full event coordination provided by the Experiential Learning Hub Event Coordinator, including enhanced promotion 

  • Featured online job posting on Experience Guelph that will appear in all student job searches

Red Event Sponsorship: Maximum 2

In addition to the inclusions in a standard registration (see below), Red Event Sponsorship also includes the following:

  • Company logo, description and website information displayed on the event website on uoguelph.ca/ELHub 

  • Company logo on the event platform 

  • Company logo to appear on all marketing materials  

  • Feature spotlight on the Experiential Learning Hub social media channels including Instagram and Twitter

  • 1 posts/stories per channel during the two weeks in advance of the fair   

  • Feature promotion in the Experiential Learning Hub e-newsletter sent weekly to students  

  • Cost: $1000 


Standard Event Registration:

  • Real-time chat including videoconferencing feature with qualified and engaged students 

  • Flexibility to use your organization’s preferred video communication platform i.e. Zoom, MS Teams, etc. 

  • 1:1 Group Chats: staff members from your organization can connect individually with students through videoconferencing on the day of the event. You can have as many staff members in the 1:1 Chat space as you would like.

  • Group Chats: staff members from your organization can connect with several students in a group at once. This works well at busy fairs and can be a good option for answering frequently asked questions i.e. what positions are you hiring for. 

  • Waiting list options to maximize communication touch points on the day of the fair  

  • Downloadable resume packages  

  • Unlimited number of staff members in the virtual booth on the day of the fair   

  • Unlimited number of online job postings on Experience Guelph 

  • Fair promotion to students and faculty through a variety of channels, ensuring maximum exposure of the fair 

  • System support before and during the fair  

  • Cost: $225 + HST
