Over 35 programs on campus provide co-operative education opportunities for students.
Many faculty and staff at the University of Guelph and at other post-secondary institutions across Canada have benefited from hiring our co-op students. Students are encouraged to seek out opportunities to support faculty and staff who work in their areas of interest.

Summer students research opportunities are available and sponsored by NSERC as Undergraduate Summer Research Awards (USRA) or as part of the financial need-based award program provided by the University of Guelph known as the Undergraduate Research Assistantships (URA). These opportunities can count as a co-op placement. Students interested in applying for these opportunities can get more information on the Student Financial Services website. [2]
