NEW Course: Career Advising from the Experiential Learning Hub
NEW UofG Course: Career Advising from the Experiential Learning Hub
The Career Advisors from the Experiential Learning Hub have worked together to provide all students with an opportunity to work on their future career paths outside of booking an appointment. This course provides answers to students' questions on career advising and future education planning. The purpose of "The Career Advisingmodules on Course link was designed to help students access pertinent career development information when they were ready, not when the office was open or when advisors were available. We recognize that this won't answer every question students may have, but it's a good place to start their career development journey."- Jill Ferguson, Manager of Career Development
These modules were designed to be used as a guide and support for personal career success. The content of the course feature five modules:
- Career Planning and Exploration
- Networking and Job Search
- Resume CV's and Cover Letters
- Interviews
- Further Education Options
The modules explore everything from career planning, networking techniques, resumes, interviews questions and activities on how to write a resume and apply to grad school. To get started on your future career path journey, this is the perfect place to start!
