On today, World Tobacco Day, the University of Guelph's main campus is marking its first day as a smoke- and tobacco-free space. Smoking or vaping of any substance and the use of smokeless tobacco is prohibited on the Guelph campus and the Arboretum (see map for for boundaries).

So you’re due to graduate from your undergraduate program soon but not sure quite what to do. You could continue your career as an academic, or you could decide that it is time to start gaining some practical experience and join the workforce. Whichever you choose, future education is always possible. Presented below are some challenges you should be aware of, and resources to inform your search for potential future academic endeavours.
After spending anywhere from 3 to 5 years studying at the undergraduate level, the thought of transitioning into a world where our days are not spent travelling to and from classes or sitting in the library cramming for midterms, can range from daunting to exhilarating. As you enjoy your cherished final months of your final semester, you may be left wondering, “what’s next?”

Each year, Co-operative Education at the University of Guelph recognizes the success of Co-op Students and Employers with seven different awards. These awards will be presented at the Co-op Awards reception to be held on Thursday March 7, 2019, from 4-6pm at Cutten Fields.
