The Co-operative Education & Career Services (CECS) department is involved in multiple professional associations including:
Co-operative Education and Work-Integrated Learning Canada (CEWIL)
Through a national forum of professional co-op practitioners, they establish national standards and promote the value of co-operative education and work-integrated learning program; and by delivering opportunities for learning and sharing of best practices.
We have met the national criteria and standards for quality delivery of co-operative education programs as approved by CEWIL.
The Canadian Association of Career Educators & Employers (CACEE)
A national non-profit partnership of employer recruiters and career services professionals. CACEE's mission is to provide authoritative information, advice, professional development opportunities and other services to employers, career services professionals, and students.
Education at Work Ontario (EWO)
EWO strives to promote and foster co-operative education of the highest quality, while ensuring an integral partnership between students, employers and post-secondary educational institutions. EWO's mission is to advocate and facilitate co-operative education as an essential component of post-secondary education, whileproviding quality service and support to its stakeholders.
