Congratulations to Catherine Wallis, Selected as One of the Guelph Mercury’s “Top 40 Under 40”

Co-operative Education & Career Services (CECS) would like to congratulate one of our very own recent co-op grads, Catherine Walls, on being named one of the Guelph Mercury’s “Top 40 Under 40.” Catherine is a graduate of the Water Resources Engineering Co-op program at the University of Guelph. She graduated from the program in April 2013, not too long after also being awarded the Collin Cureatz Memorial Award for Co-op Student Involvement by CECS at the 2012 Co-op Awards reception. In the Guelph Mercury article about Catherine published on Thursday, June 20, 2013, Catherine is quoted talking about her motivation behind choosing the Water Resources Engineering Co-op at Guelph: “…I came to an open house here at the U of G and spoke to students in the engineering program. Listening to them talk about their experiences really inspired me and decided I wanted to do the same when I had a little bit of experience behind me.”  In May, Catherine began working as a Water Resources engineering intern for Dillon Consulting Ltd. in London, Ontario.  We are very proud of you, Catherine, and we wish you much continued success!
