Second Year

In addition to those activities that you started in first year, continue on a guided path by:

  • Continue to get involved on or off campus
  • Fine tune your resume and cover letter or practice your interviewing skills
  • Get some experience doing virtual interviews through our virtual platform Symplicity
  • Gain work related experience on campus
  • Improve your networking skills
  • Attend the Career Fair in September to explore the world of work and the Job Fair in February to use your networking skills to land a  summer job related to your studies
  • Learn how to dress appropriately in an interview and on the job
  • Seek a summer job or internship relevant to your field of study
  • Want to gain international experience?
    • Study abroad
